Rosemarie Yerbury Foster began her interest in the visual arts in 1954 in Cloverdale B. C. Canada. She has been particularly drawn towards the oil paint medium choosing flora and fauna as her primary subjects. As an adult Rosemarie returned to her artistic studies. Her starting point was with The Art Instruction School of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has also studied with the Northern Light School of Art and developed her understanding of colur theory with instrution provided by the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. As a viual artist she focuses primarily on landscape and naure portraiture. Currently Rosemarie is utilzing the mediums of acrylics, watercolours and Pastels. Roseamrie is a member dof the Shuswap Lake Festival of the Arts, Kamloops Art Gallery, Kamloops Art Council and Federation of Canadian artists where she has achieved her Active Member Statis. |
